Gboard Go is, just like all the other ‘GO’ variations of Google apps, a lighter version of this powerful Android keyboard. The app also has a special characteristic that’s worth pointing out: you can install it over your Gboard as long as you have a smartphone with little RAM memory or Android 8.1.
As far as features go, Gboard Go offers practically the same ones as the normal version, except for the GIF and sticker search. Besides this tiny missing feature, you can do basically the same things with both apps. What’s really interesting about Gboard Go is that (on paper) it’s almost half the RAM memory of the standard Gboard version. And for some Android smartphones this characteristic can be huge.
Gboard Go is another official ‘GO’ version of Google apps that’s little by little creating a huge range of apps with low resource consumption and reduced RAM memory.
